Benjamin Markovits is the author of eight novels, including Playing Days (Harper Collins) a fictionalized account of his years playing minor league basketball and Weekend in New York which features a tennis player preparing for the US Open. One of Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists Markovits’ next novel, Christmas in Austin will be published by Faber & Faber US in November 2019, and a YA novel, Home Games is forthcoming from HarperCollins in Feb 2020.
