Megan Marshall is the author of biographies of Elizabeth Bishop, Margaret Fuller, and the three Peabody sisters—Elizabeth Palmer Peabody, Mary Peabody Mann, and Sophia Peabody Hawthorne. Her books have won the Francis Parkman Prize, the Mark Lynton History Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, and two Massachusetts Book Awards in Nonfiction.
