After my book (How to Fall in Love with Anyone) came out last summer, I dealt with all my complicated feelings about the book publicity cycle by posting a series of comics on Instagram. Drawing about the weirdness of the writing life felt much lighter than writing about it. I wanted to address the gap between how the publicity cycle looks on the outside and how it feels on inside. Now that the paperback is on its way, I’m celebrating (and staying sane) by making more comics and actually publishing a few of them here. You can find more at @mandy_len_catron.
