Little Women pulled a Game of Thrones.

With all this time on our hands, we can approach new books and other media with great care, taking note of things we might have otherwise missed.

The most attentive among us have already proven up to the task.

Greta Gerwig’s beloved film adaptation of Little Women is now available for streaming, and one viewer recently noticed a gaffe in the mise en scène: at one point a plastic water bottle and tumbler are visible behind Laurie (Timothée Chalamet).

Unfortunately, it seems the crew of Little Women didn’t have the technical razzle-dazzle to edit these out à la Game of Thrones.

I’m sure at the end of the day this is the thing about the movie Gerwig will be most hung up about, and not the fact that she was snubbed out of what pretty much everyone agrees was a well-earned Best Director Oscar nomination.

I wonder if this means there are any Civil War-era Easter eggs in Lady Bird?
