Here’s a surprisingly low-stakes and silly story about a Christian publisher! The Massachusetts-based, pragmatically-named Christian book distributor, Christian Book Distributors, had to change its name to Christianbook due to all the calls it was getting from people looking for CBD, the cannabis oil that may or may not alleviate anxiety, dog anxiety, insomnia, dog insomnia, pain, dog pain, and a whole host of other ailments in humans and in dogs.

Luckily Ray Hendrickson, Christianbook’s president and CEO, seems to have a pretty good sense of humor about the whole thing. “A person may call up and say, ‘Hey, I’m looking for my order,’” He told The New York Times. “It’s like, ‘What did you order? Oh, I ordered gummies. You don’t have the right company.’”
