Maria Lopez

Maria Lopez was born in the foothills of the Andes Mountains in Colombia. Since arriving in New York City she has studied at the New York Public Library’s Adult Learning Center, and is enrolled in English language programs at the Harlem Library and Hunter College. Her stories have been published in Symphony Space’s All Write!, The Literacy Review, and Aguilar Writing Journal. She lives in the Bronx.
