Kima Jones is the founder of Jack Jones Literary Arts, a Los Angeles-based book publicity agency for black and brown writers. In 2019, Kima founded Culture, Too—a mentorship conference for black and brown cultural critics. In the spring of 2021, Kima Jones joined Triangle House Literary as an agent. Kima is at work on her first book, Butch, a memoir, forthcoming from Knopf in fall 2023. She has been published at GQ, Guernica, Poets and Writers, and McSWeeney's and in the New York Times Best Seller, The Fire this Time, edited by Jesmyn Ward. She divides her time between Los Angeles and Durham, NC.
