    Last week Knopf announced that John Freeman would be joining as an Executive Editor. I am happy for John to have this great opportunity but sad to see him step away from Lit Hub. I want to thank John for his extraordinary efforts over the last five years as Executive Editor of Literary Hub. His contributions have been enormous bringing in hundreds of writers and pieces of great range and variety. It has been amazing to watch Lit Hub grow from an idea into this vibrant platform and we could not have done it without John. I wish John great success in this next phase and am happy that I will continue to work with him at Grove publishing future editions of his brilliant journal Freeman’s.
