You can spend a night (or several) in the horny hockey cottage from Heated Rivalry.
One of the locations where the hit hockey romance Heated Rivalry was shot is available to rent, if you’re trying to turn your weekend away into more of a cosplay situation, according to Travel + Leisure. The Barlochan Cottage is located just north of Toronto, and as per the listing, it’s s the cottage you recognize “featured on a TV-hit show this season.”
The listing is clearly a professional affair, because the pictures on the listing are very crisp. The house is modern and aspirational—it makes sense as a romance set—with lots of glass and lots of light wood, doing a kind of store-brand Case Study House look. It’s apparently in a nice location too, with lots of waterfront to play around in—the rental comes with a bunch of kayaks and canoes. But all of the photos are only shot from one direction, which makes me think the view from the other angle (towards the water?) isn’t as flattering.
Sunsets are listed as one of the cabin’s features, which I have to say is stolen valor from nature. And the orientation of the house is listed in scare quotes (“North-West Exposure”), which raises more questions than answers for me.
But if you’re a fan and you don’t want to get onto the ice and skate around, this could be the perfect way to recreate your Heated fantasies.
