The ceremony will be hosted by BBC presenter, Nikki Bedi, and will include a shortlist presentation featuring the 13 authors and translators, along with actors performing readings from the books.

The chair of judges, translator Frank Wynne, will present the awards live to the winning author and translator. This year’s judging panel includes Frank; author and academic Merve Emre; writer and lawyer Petina Gappah; writer, comedian and TV, radio and podcast presenter, Viv Groskop; and translator and author Jeremy Tiang.
