In general, I have zero interest in content by and about Trump or his administration, but the latest money grab disguised as a book caught my attention because of the high potential for celebrities being extremely embarrassed. According to CNN, the book, which will reportedly be released next year, will “showcas[e] his private correspondence with past and present celebrities and international icons.”

On the one hand, this is a bunch of name drops in the form of a book. On the other, I will absolutely read every one of the inevitable “Biggest revelations from Trump’s celebrity letters book” posts that appear after its publication. Do I want to know which celebrities were willing to overlook the fact that Trump was extremely obviously abhorrent and racist decades before that abhorrent racism became a matter of national policy? Absolutely, and I’m not ashamed to admit it!

Sources told CNN that letters from Elton John, Michael Jackson, and Princess Diana will likely be included in the “book.” Yikes!
