Hosted by Jordan Kisner as an ancillary project to her debut nonfiction collection, Thin Places, Thresholds will dive into moments of spiritual or political transformation that take place in liminal states, when people are in between jobs, faiths, genders, cultures, or identities. Thresholds will be On Being meets Death Sex & Money for a young, creative audience. Interviews will include Alexander Chee, Carmen Maria Machado, Mira Jacob, Wendy S. Walters, and more to be announced.
Host Jordan Kisner says of the podcast, “When I started writing Thin Places, I thought of it as a collection of thresholds: interior or exterior places where human beings (specifically American human beings, living now) experienced moments of upheaval, transformation, or transition. In this podcast, I want to have frank, intimate conversations with a handful of brilliant writers, thinkers, and artists who have made work about these moments in their own lives.”
Subscribe, listen, and enjoy the engaging interviews as we bring you into Thresholds. Episodes will begin running weekly on March 11, 2020, and will be available for free on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, TuneIn, PocketCasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
