Happy belated Juneteenth! The destruction of slavery is one of the greatest achievements in our nation’s history, and I hope you took some time to reflect on it yesterday.

From my perch in New York City, it’s been a hot week: the weather is getting hot, early voting started in a hot mayoral race (go Zohran, don’t rank Cuomo!), and the hot, putrid breath of Trump and his hogmen is continuing to breath down our necks.
