Rakuten OverDrive, a platform for digital books (used by more than 43,000 libraries and schools worldwide), has released a list of its most-borrowed ebooks and audiobooks in 2019. There are no real surprises on the list, besides maybe the fact that so many people want to listen to a woman tell them to wash their faces. Hey, at least it was free?

    Most popular ebooks:

    1. Delia Owens, Where the Crawdads Sing
    2. Michelle Obama, Becoming
    3. Tara Westover, Educated
    4. Liane Moriarty, Nine Perfect Strangers
    5. Celeste Ng, Little Fires Everywhere

    Most popular audiobooks:

    1. Michelle Obama, Becoming
    2. Delia Owens, Where the Crawdads Sing
    3. Tara Westover, Educated
    4. Rachel Hollis Girl, Wash Your Face
    5. J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
