Ray Bradbury still deserves birthday sex, even after all these years.

Ray Bradbury was born on this day in 1920. You know him: the renowned sci-fi and fantasy writer. You probably read Fahrenheit 451 in high school. But did you know that he tried to write for The Twilight Zone? And that he and Rod Serling became bitter enemies over plagiarism claims?

I bet you didn’t know that Crazy Ex Girlfriend creator and star Rachel Bloom is quite possibly his biggest fan. In 2010, she went public with her adoration and shared “Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury” with the world. (In 2011, the video was even nominated for a Hugo Award!)

So, celebrate Ray Bradbury today with lyrics like: “Since I was 12, I’ve been your number one fan / Kiss me, you illustrated man. / I’ll feed you grapes and dandelion wine / And we’ll read a little Fahrenheit 69.” You’re welcome.

Ray Bradbury was supposedly “charmed by the whole thing.” Here’s a photo of him (reportedly) watching it:
