President Joe Biden panders to writers everywhere by ALSO doing last-minute edits.

According to Arlette Saenz just now on CNN soon-to-be President Joe Biden will be editing his inaugural speech right up to the very last second, in what is the presidential version of “Wait, can you use this version?” Apparently, he also marks up his speeches to help with pacing, which would make sense even if he hadn’t been a lifelong stutterer. Between this and his predilection for quoting Irish poets, Joe would probably fit right in at AWP (he’d be the one staying too late at the hotel bar buying drinks for everyone).

CNN is also reporting that Donald Trump’s name will not be spoken in the speech!
