Omar Mouallem is a writer, journalist, editor, filmmaker, commentator, educator, and small-business owner. He has worked for such outlets as The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, CBC TV, and The Guardian, and have appeared on Al Jazeera, WNYC, and other networks. In 2020, he created Pandemic University “Pop-up” School of Writing to support writers and journalists stiffed by the COVID-19 pandemic fallout.
