Jon Levy: Actually Caring is the New Networking
In Conversation with Andrew Keen on Keen On
Hosted by Andrew Keen, Keen On features conversations with some of the world’s leading thinkers and writers about the economic, political, and technological issues being discussed in the news, right now.
In this episode, Andrew is joined by Jon Levy, author of You’re Invited: The Art and Science of Cultivating Influence, to discuss how to create meaningful connections with those who can impact you, your life, and the things you care about.
From the episode:
Jon Levy: What I do really want is for people to realize that the way we connect isn’t through networking. The way we win people over isn’t through gifts. Fundamentally, what makes us human is the ability to invest effort into one another, and care. I want people to have better, more meaningful relationships. Whether that’s in business or for social causes or just from everyday life.
