    I love the Milwaukee Public Library Instagram and you should too: somehow they’ve achieved the perfect mix of try-hard theater kid, unhinged meme lord, and zen boomer TikTok savant.

    Head over here to see for yourself, but below are a few of my favorites.

    In what stands as their current magnum opus, I offer you this October 5th Halloween extravaganza, which riffs off the Shining, It, Carrie, Misery, and more, all in the name of accessible books (and yes, Stephen King novels).

    In another instant classic, promoting the library’s music collection, two librarians get themselves absolutely LOCKED IN to this TikTok-style lip-synch. Impeccable vibes.

    I also love this meme-ready reel of a senior patron reading whatever the hell she wants.

    With absolute sincerity, all I can say here is both get it queen (see above), and thank you Milwaukee Public Library for adding joy to the world.
