Just when we finally escaped from the internet-wide thirst around the young stars of the BBC/Hulu’s first Sally Rooney adaptation, we have four more extremely hot members of the Sally Rooney Expanded Universe to ogle. Deadline has announced the stars of Conversations With Friends (the superior Rooney, do not @ me).

The thin college students Frances and Bobbi will be played by Sasha Lane and Alison Oliver, and Melissa and Nick, the married couple the two befriend (a freighted friend, naturally) by Jemima Kirke and Joe Alwyn.

Alison Oliver is the newcomer of the group, while Sasha Lane was the lead in 2016’s excellent American Honey. Joe Alwyn is best known for his work in The Favourite, and as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, and while I have no opinion about his acting or his personality, I look forward to seeing what kind of chain he will wear in the adaptation. He’s also very handsome, in a “Taylor Swift’s boyfriend” kind of way. I’m most excited about Jemima Kirke (AKA Jessa from Girls) as the intimidating, aloof Melissa.

The series is scheduled to premier in 2022, so you have plenty of time to ready your thirstiest takes.
