Nigel Warburton is a freelance philosopher, journalist, and podcaster. His books include A Little History of Philosophy, The Art Question, Free Speech: A Very Short Introduction, and Thinking from A to Z. With David Edmonds he makes the podcast Philosophy Bites, which has had over 47 million unique episode downloads. He has a weekly column in The New European newspaper and writes regularly for The New Philosopher. He is also consultant senior editor for the online magazine Aeon, and philosophy editor for the Five Books website.

Dr. Philip Goff is Professor of Philosophy at Durham University. His research focuses on consciousness and the ultimate nature of reality. Goff is best known for defending panpsychism, the view that consciousness pervades the universe and is a fundamental feature of it. Goff’s books include Why? The Purpose of the Universe, Galileo’s Error: Foundations for a New Science of Consciousness, Consciousness and Fundamental Reality, and Is Consciousness Everywhere? Essays on Panpsychism. Goff has published many academic articles as well as writing extensively for newspapers and magazines, including Scientific American, The Guardian, Aeon, Wall Street Journal and the Times Literary Supplement.
