Shze-Hui Tjoa and Farah Ali

Shze-Hui Tjoa is the author of THE STORY GAME: A MEMOIR (Tin House, 2024), recognised as a notable book of its release season by The New York Times, Book Riot, The Boston Globe, Between the Covers podcast and others. She is the incoming Senior Nonfiction Editor of Guernica magazine and organises for Palestine with Fossil Free Books in the UK. Her career has been supported by Disquiet International (Portugal), the Ceriph Mentorship Programme (Singapore), the Association of Writers & Writing Programs (USA) and Green Olive Arts (Morocco), among other global arts organisations. Farah Ali is the writer of the novel THE RIVER, TOWN (Dzanc, 2024) and the short-story collection PEOPLE WANT TO LIVE (McSweeneys, 2021). Her work has been anthologized in the Pushcart Prize and the Best Small Fictions, and has appeared in Shenandoah, Kenyon Review,Ecotone, Virginia Quarterly Review and elsewhere. She is the co-founder of Lakeer, a digital journal from Pakistan, and the Reviews Editor at Wasafiri. She lives in London where she writes and edits.
