Sanderia Faye

Sanderia Faye is the author of the novel Mourner’s Bench, which won the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award in debut fiction. She serves on the faculty at Southern Methodist University and is a professional speaker and activist. She is the co-founder of the Kimbilio Center for Fiction, and her work has appeared in the anthology Arsnick: The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee in Arkansas. Currently a PhD student in English at the University of North Texas, she holds an MFA from Arizona State University.
