Patrick Lalley is a Sioux Falls native and veteran journalist. He graduated from O’Gorman High School and the University of South Dakota. Lalley was cofounder of Tempest Magazine, a reporter in Sioux City and Des Moines, then copy editor, night editor, state editor, managing editor, and news director of the Argus Leader. Lalley is the author of seven nonfiction children’s books including 9.11.01: Terrorist Attack the US. He writes for FiveFour and Pigeon605.com and occasionally contributes to the Washington Post.
