Nancy Hightower has a PhD in literature/creative nonfiction from the University of Denver and is the author of Elementari Rising and the poetry collection The Acolyte, which was a finalist for the Elgin Award. She was the science fiction and fantasy reviewer for The Washington Post and the art columnist for Weird Fiction Review. She lives in New York City and curates readings for St. Peter's Chelsea.
