Joy Harjo is the 23rd US Poet Laureate.
Craig Santos Perez, a native CHamoru from the Pacific Island of Guåhan (Guam), is the author of five books of poetry, including Habitat Threshold, and the coeditor of five anthologies. He is a professor of English at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.
