Darcy Ballantyne is an assistant professor at Toronto Metropolitan University in the department of English, where she teaches in the Black Studies Minor. Her research focuses on Black Canadian literatures and cultures, diaspora studies, city writing, critical mixed-race theory, and Black memoir and autoethnography.
