Colleen Dunn Bates is the founder and publisher of Prospect Park Books, one of Southern California’s leading trade publishers. Distributed by Consortium/Ingram, Prospect Park focuses on fiction (literary, popular, mystery/crime), cookbooks, regional, and humor/gift titles. A sixth-generation Southern Californian, Bates was a magazine journalist and nonfiction book editor and author before founding Prospect Park.
