    A24 is adapting Ocean Vuong’s On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous.

    Some adaptation news to send us into the holiday! A24 is currently working on the film adaptation of Ocean Vuong’s beautiful—and widely loved—novel On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous.

    The news was announced on Monday at the start of this week’s episode of the A24 podcast, which featured a conversation between Vuong and Memorial author Bryan Washington. Memorial is also being adapted by A24—into a limited TV series, co-produced by Scott Rudin and Eli Bush.

    No tentative release date was announced for the adaptation (understandable, given . . . everything in the world). In the meantime, you can listen to Ocean Vuong and Bryan Washington’s conversation on the A24 Podcast here.
