Here’s a way to help the situation in Ukraine while also potentially getting something amazing in return: check out a fundraising auction from Pan Macmillan, which lasts until March 20 and has already raised more than £40,000 for British Ukrainian Aid.

The items on auction range from signed and dedicated copies of books, submission package critiques with agents and authors, career consultations, book shopping dates with writers, and more. Erin Kelly, Sarah Hilary, Lucie Whitehouse, and Charlotte Levin are among the authors offering their time for career-related feedback, along with editors and publishers; Karen Sullivan (publisher of Orenda Books), Kishani Widyaratna (editorial director of 4th Estate Books), and Kimberley Atkins (Fiction Publisher at Hodder & Stoughton) are also donating their time for career advice and editorial critique.

Among the book bundles and agent conversations, there are a few surprises, too: if you’ve ever wanted to “join Jeffrey Archer for afternoon tea in the House of Lords,” or a “psychic astrology reading” with astrologer Jessica Adams, this is your moment.

You have five days left: go!
