Last week, Donald Trump announced his budget proposal, which includes the defunding of the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanties (recipients of approximately .006% of government spending in 2016).

Writers and artists across the country have mobilized to voice their opposition to the cuts, and in solidarity with these movements, we asked writers to share the postcards they will be sending to their representatives to demand that the NEA and NEH remain funded.
