    Won’t you read Sam Neill’s book?

    The media got itself into a twist this week as (old) news that your favorite friend to pigs Sam Neill had dealt with a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma hit the airwaves. Neill, who is 8 months in remission for the condition, would rather everyone tone down the “CANCER! CANCER! CANCER!” talk, and focus instead on his new book of essays, Did I Ever Tell You This?, which comes out on March 23 from Penguin Books.

    He said so in a highly endearing Instagram video:

    FWIW, Neill’s Jurassic Park costar Laura Dern herself has blurbed the book! “Sam Neill is a legend, and in this magnificent book he shares his stories of family, friends and film with delicious irreverence, compassion and grace,” she has written, and yes, I want to know more about his farm.
