Greenlight enthusiastically welcomes award-winning author Billy-Ray Belcourt to their virtual stage in celebration of his staggering debut novel, A Minor Chorus.

After an unnamed narrator abandons his unfinished thesis, he returns to northern Alberta in search of what eludes him. What ensues is a series of connections and disconnections that reveal the texture of life in a town literature has left unexplored, where the friction between possibility and constraint provides an insistent background score.

Belcourt is joined by jaye simpson for an evening of testing the theory that storytelling can make us feel less lonely. In the words of Eden Robinson (Son of a Trickster), “No one breaks your heart as elegantly as Billy-Ray Belcourt.”
