Today in brilliant casting moves: Kristin Scott Thomas will play Mrs. Danvers in Netflix’s adaptation of Rebecca.
In what can only be described as an act of inspired casting, the truly brilliant Kristin Scott Thomas will be joining Lily James and Armie Hammer in Ben Wheatley’s upcoming adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s gothic masterpiece Rebecca—as all-time classic villain Mrs. Danvers, of course. If Netflix didn’t already take my money on a regular basis, I would be shaking it at them now.
