    The newest remix of “Old Town Road” is… a children’s book?

    Lil Nas X has been riding off the success of last year’s single “Old Town Road” for a while now (a fact he commonly makes fun of himself). There was a time last summer when it felt like a new version of the country/rap song was coming out weekly, featuring a new guest singer, along with new horse on the album cover art, and it somehow never got old.

    And the ride is far from over: Lil Nas just announced the planned release of C is for Country, a children’s ABC-learning picture book featuring the singer with imagery from his diamond-certified song.

    Technically for kids, but also for those adults who are missing the simple days of the summer of “Old Town Road”—C is for Country will be released January 5, 2021 from Random House Kids.
