Henry Holt and Company announced Tuesday that it would publish a book by Stacey Abrams on voting rights—and ending voter suppression—in June.

Our Time is Now: Power, Purpose, and the Fight for a Fair America will draw on Abrams’ experience running a groundbreaking campaign for governor in Georgia in 2018, where she became the first black woman nominated for governor by a major party and drew nationwide attention to voting access. She ultimately lost to Republican Brian Kemp.

“The future of our democracy depends on correcting all that is wrong with our elections process, including the insidious practice of voter suppression,” Abrams said in a statement, the Associated Press reported. “And we must remind voters of their power to be seen and to demand action not simply on election days but every day.”
