Some book news for the royal watchers out there: Prince Harry is publishing a memoir with Penguin Random House in late 2022. According to the press release, the book will be “the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.” The Prince himself had this to say:

I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story—the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned—I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.

This will be the Prince’s first book, though his wife Meghan published a children’s book, The Bench, in June.

The Page Six headline has predictably described the memoir as “explosive,” though the article also admits that “it’s unclear exactly what the book will cover.”

Explosive or not, all the book’s proceeds will go to charity, so here’s hoping it’s a massive best-seller!
