    Podcast industry is pivoting to… books?

    Finally, the one true pivot we’ve all been waiting for… to books! Flatiron announced yesterday that they’ll be launching an imprint called Stuff You Should Read: An iHeart Book, which will turn popular iHeart Radio podcasts into books (which will then be turned into TV shows, which will then be turned into chapbooks, which will then be turned video games). The first actual book—“from the earbuds to the page” as the press release has it—is called Stuff You Should Know: An Incomplete Compendium of Mostly Interesting Things, and will be written by Josh Clark and Chuck Bryant, hosts of the Stuff You Should Know podcast.
