May we suggest not paying $99 for “authentic decorative books”?
Don’t buy these books. I know! Usually we’re all “bUy aLL tHe BoOks”! Especially when they’re authentic books, as these books are.
Laura Miller tweeted some stern words about these books-by-the-foot, which are sold for decoration and/or tricking people into thinking you spend your evenings settled in your Eames chair, reading “a variety of literary works, period novels and topical texts with light overall wear.” (Topical texts! My favorite kind of texts!)
This company is charging idiots $99 dollars for a dozen crap books they bought at the Salvation Army because the spines are the same color. Authentic! https://t.co/tCYbbvKuqp

I did not know there was so much money to be made in putting things near other things of the same color! Speaking of colors, maybe you should take the $99 you have earmarked for homefills and donate it to the Yellowhammer Fund?
