We talk an awful lot about literary culture here at Literary Hub, whatever that means. But we’d gladly argue (and fight, if need be) that American literary culture is richer for the honky-tonk punk troubadors of the 1960s and 70s, exemplified by the holy trinity of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson.
So we are very happy to debut the eponymous song Willie Nelson wrote about his new memoir, “It’s a Long Story.” And thus, we have reached our career pinnacle.
