    Laura Lippman just signed a massive 5-book deal, which includes her first work of nonfiction.

    Good news for all fans of high quality literary crime fiction out there: this morning, Laura Lippman and her publisher, William Morrow, announced that the prize-winning crime novelist has inked a five (5) book deal, which includes three new novels, a short story collection, and a book of personal essays, which will be Lippman’s first foray into nonfiction.

    Lippman posted the news this morning on Twitter, quipping “Three words I’ve been dying to write for a long time: Some personal news.” That’s some personal news indeed.
