    Boy do we need it.

Lady Gaga and her organization, the Born This Way Foundation, have announced that they’ll be publishing an anthology later this year called Channel Kindness: Stories of Kindness and Community.

All of the anthology’s authors are contributors to the Born This Way Channel Kindness program, which is all about elevating “youth voices by providing a storytelling platform for first-person accounts of everyday acts of bravery and kindness.”

A statement about the book says readers will “meet young changemakers who found their inner strength, prevailed in the face of bullies, started their own social movements, and decided to break through the mental health stigma.”

In addition to contributor stories, the book will also feature “personal notes of empowerment” from Gaga herself.

Gaga’s book project seems at least thematically related to her upcoming album, Chromatica, which, as she told Pitchfork, is “about healing and … about bravery as well.”
