The sheriff and his partner-in-justice, Henry Standing Bear, are requested by Tribal Police Chief Lola Long to investigate death threats sent to her niece, a talented basketball player. They also are called upon to look into past disappearances, and the story draws attention to the true tragedies of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. A standout in the series for story and performance.
