    Check out the dreamy first trailer for The Lying Life of Adults.

    The trailer for the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Elena Ferrante’s coming-of-age novel The Lying Life of Adults has been released, and it looks appropriately gritty and gorgeous. The 2020 novel follows teenaged Giovanna as she travels the refined, middle-class, 1990s-era Naples of her upbringing the Naples of her Aunt Vittoria, who her parents hate and fear—and who her father believes she is coming to resemble.

    The series drops on January 4, 2023, and you can watch the trailer below:
