Maegan Poland is a Black Mountain Institute PhD Fellow in Fiction at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She received a Special Mention in the Pushcart Prize XL anthology for her story, “Spores.” Her work has been published in Pleiades and Day One. She has served as Fiction Editor for Witness magazine, and as a Managing Editor for Yalobusha Review.
