Dion Kagan is an academic and arts writer who works on film, TV, sex and popular culture. He lectures in gender and cultural studies and has written reviews and essays for Kill Your Darlings, The Big Issue, Australian Book Review, Metro, Screen Education, Archer: The Journal of Sexual Diversity and others. Dion is the queer columnist for The Lifted Brow and a regular co-host on fortnightly culture podcast The Rereaders. His book, Positive Images: Gay Men and the Culture of Post-Crisis, is due from I. B. Tauris in 2017.
