Claudia Rankine is the author or five collections of poetry, including Citizen (2014), a finalist for the National Book Award and winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award in Poetry. Beth Loffreda teaches workshops in non-fiction as well as courses in recent American and African-American literature at the University of Wyoming and published Losing Matt Shepard: Life and Politics in the Aftermath of Anti-Gay Murder (2000).
