Athena Dixon is a poet and essayist born and raised in NE Ohio. She is the author of the poetry chapbook No God in This Room and the essay collection The Incredible Shrinking Woman. Her work also appears in The Breakbeat Poets Vol. 2: Black Girl Magic as well as GAY Magazine, Grub Street, Narratively, and Shenandoah among others.
