Amy Dockser Marcus

Amy Dockser Marcus is a health and science reporter for The Wall Street Journal. Her stories depict how scientific advances are transforming society and raising bioethical questions. Amy won a Pulitzer Prize in 2005 for a series of stories about cancer survivors and the social, economic, and health challenges they face living with the disease. Amy is the author of three books. Her earlier books, The View From Nebo: How Archaeology is Rewriting the Bible and Reshaping the MIddle East and Jerusalem 1913: The Origins of the Arab-Israeli Conflict, grew out of her reporting for The Wall Street Journal in the Middle East. Her book, We the Scientists: How A Daring Team of Parents and Doctors Forged A New Path for Medicine, was published earlier this year by Riverhead Books. Amy has a master of bioethics degree from Harvard Medical School.
