Amy Thielen is a cook and a writer. She is the author of The New Midwestern Table, which won the James Beard Award for American Cooking (2014) and was a Boston Globe, NPR, and Eater.com best book of the year. She was also the host of the James Beard-nominated Heartland Table on Food Network. Amy speaks and writes for radio and magazines, and is a contributing editor at Saveur.
